Circuit Court refers to a type of court in the United States that is part of the federal judiciary system. It is an intermediate appellate court that hears appeals from the district courts and other lower federal courts, as well as cases that involve multiple districts or circuits. The circuit courts are divided into 12 regional circuits, each covering a specific geographic area of the country. Decisions made by these courts can be further appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States.
